We came together in 2015 after experiencing a lack of community support for families & womb health. Since then we’ve humbly led the effort in Phoenix to bring Indigenous families together to share knowledge, wisdom, and provide care for those in need.

Our signature event:

annual ancestral womb wellness gathering

June 2021 - held virtually for the first time

The theme for the gathering this year:

The Caracol ~ Spiral ~ Atecocolli is used throughout the world as a ceremonial calling of the ancestors. This Atecocolli is also a symbol of our connections to the elements and a reference to the Cihuapactli Collective’s origin story which involved responding to a mother’s call. This year, the Atecocolli also symbolizes our annual gathering as a calling to our relatives from afar while we manage our home fires, families, mental health, and overall wellness.

This year’s artwork was created by Comadrita Yvonne.
